# Communication Numbers Requirements

When CommunicationNumbers is sent, the PrimaryTelephone must be sent.

For PrimaryTelephone, in the U.S. or Canada, Surescripts validates that the prescriber, supervisor, pharmacy, or facility number is:

- Exactly 10 digits
- Not all zeros or repeating numbers
- Not a sequential number (1234567890, 0123456789, 9876543210)
- Not 555 as the area code
