# Pharmacy to Pharmacy Flow

## Solicited Pharmacy Transfer Flow

The following message flow is used by the destination (requesting) pharmacy to ask the source pharmacy to transfer one or more prescriptions for a specific patient. This is done using the prescription transfer request (RxTransferInitiationRequest) transaction.

## Unsolicited Pharmacy Transfer Flow

The following message flow is used by the source pharmacy to transfer one prescription for a specific patient to the destination pharmacy. This model is unsolicited as the destination pharmacy is not expecting the transaction to be pushed from the source pharmacy.
