## R.309

**R.309:** An automatic response for RxRenewalRequests shall not be sent back to the pharmacy. Exceptions to this requirement include an automatic Denial for non-support of Compounds or Supplies, a deceased patient, or when the original prescription contained the ProhibitRenewalRequest flag.

- Automatic response: A response that is generated systematically without allowing the receiver to review the request.
