This workflow is for EHR vendors who register providers at all locations where they e-prescribe:
- Register providers 7–30 days before the active start date.
Register the providers moving to your system, and pre-learn secondary locations, if applicable.
- Confirm the practice location.
Make sure each provider is registered at the correct practice location before their active start date.
- Begin using your system.
Have providers begin using your system on their active start date.
Result: Rerouting begins after the first NewRx is sent from any provider in the group with the same active start date.
