Application Certification Requirements

the following application certification requirements (acrs) are validated during certification testing all requirements marked "shall" must be met to achieve production status on the surescripts network acr requirement description c 200 when end users are searching for a destination address, a minimum of the following data elements shall be made available to end users last name (required for provider records only) first name (required for provider records only) clinic or organization name (required for organization records only) address line 1 address line 2 city state zip specialty c 201 applications receiving direct addresses from surescripts' directory shall consume, and make available for use, both provider and organization records c 202 applications receiving direct addresses from surescripts' directory shall reciprocate by publishing their own direct addresses to the surescripts directory c 203 applications shall not include protected health information (phi) in the message subject c 204 applications shall record and make available message delivery status(es) c 205 the participant’s application shall be able to display and make available for download, at a minimum, the attachment types listed below (this does not apply when messages are ingested systematically ) if an attachment is filtered for any reason, such as for security purposes, the participant’s application shall notify the recipient of the message the attachment was removed and the filename of the attachment html pdf txt cda note acrs c 200 c 202 require integration with the surescripts directory service see the surescripts directory implementation guide for address search, display, and publishing requirements
