This section provides guidelines for the data messaging interfaces between the prescribing system and the pharmacy. Some message flows include the utilization of LTPAC information. LTPAC is a variety of settings and services which help meet both the medical and non-medical needs of people with a chronic illness or disability who cannot care for themselves for long periods of time.
Notes:
- EPCS and LTPAC will have specific sections below where applicable.
- For the purposes of this guide, when referring to LTPAC the term prescriber could be used in place of provider/prescriber/agent.
