Canceling a Prior Authorization

The Cancel Prior Authorization feature, which is accessed from the Options menu, is available for prior authorizations that have had a Case ID assigned by the PBM/payer. This includes Open Question Sets that have not been completed by the prescriber, or requests in which a PBM/payer has not yet responded with an Approved, Denied, or Closed response.
Note: When Cancel Prior Authorization is clicked, a PACancelRequest message is generated.
